The purpose of High Speed Data Loggers (HSDL) is to record high channel count data at high sampling rates in order to capture transient phenomena occurring at unpredictable times. The HSDL is a great troubleshooting and fine-tuning tool for fast, large scale continuous processes, where their existing control and monitoring systems do not provide sufficient time resolution.
