Education
Our educational activities are based on two main resources:
- Vast experience with National Instruments products
- An interconnection between the Division of Virtual Instrumentation and Department of Electrical Measurement at VSB-Technical University Ostrava. Many employees of the division are currently teaching in this Department.
We offer a variety of educational activities in the area of virtual instrumentation:
- National Instruments scheduled courses. Our instructor-led courses are more than lectures; they give you hands-on practice developing instrumentation applications. In our classes, each student is provided with a computer, plug-in DAQ board some computers having GPIB interface board, GPIB instrument, DAQ signal device, and course manual. The course manual serves as a classroom manual, containing lecture materials and hands-on exercises. We limit the class size to give you greater personal attention and an opportunity to discuss your application one-on-one with the instructor. We choose our instructors for their communication skills and their technical expertise in PC-based data acquisition and instrument control. Our instructors work with NI products on a daily basis; therefore, they can quickly identify solutions for your unique application requirements.
- System Integration. National Instruments products offer power, flexibility, and productivity to help you develop your own measurement and automation systems. However, if you have time constraints, limited in-house technical resources, or other dilemmas, you may prefer to employ consulting or systems integration services. In these cases, you can rely on the expertise available through our close connection to VSB-Technical University Ostrava as National Instruments Alliance Program members.
- Technical Support. We offer our experience to National Instruments customers in the Czech and Slovak Republic. We are prepared to consult and solve your problems in the field of virtual instrumentation.
