JAI - C3 Camera Suite
JAI announces the launch of its digital C3 Camera Suite – a range of vision cameras that give users the unique ability to easily switch from camera to camera depending on their application and environment needs. JAI has dubbed this concept “Unlimited Digital Switchability”
A camera for every application JAI’s Core Camera Concept (C3) suite consists of three product tiers: Basic, Advanced and Compact. Each tier offers a range of high-performance cameras with individual capabilities, putting unparalleled functionality at users’ fingertips. All the cameras share the same control and configuration methods and integrate quickly and simply with all applications. This uniformity makes switching among models effortless – a key benefit for busy System Integrators and Original Equipment Manufacturers tasked with installing diverse and complex machine vision solutions. JAI has ensured an easy switch for its analog customers, and made the transition to the digital standard simple with a common Software Development Kit (SDK) and interface, flexible system architecture and connections, and opto-isolated inputs and outputs. The GigE Vision interface - available on all models - supports cables of up to 100 meters and ensures high-contrast image capture every time. Other key features of all new C3 GigE Vision cameras include programmable General Purpose Input/Output ports (GPIO) for flexible connection to peripheral equipment via opto-isolated I/Os and a sequencer trigger function allowing on-the-fly change of gain, shutter and ROI.
